01Continuous health monitoringSpot emerging operational issues before they become business disruptions.
  • Instance availability, connectivity & service status
  • CPU utilization and processor pressure
  • Memory utilization and memory pressure
  • Disk I/O throughput and latency
  • Database files, transaction logs, growth & available storage
  • TempDB configuration, usage & contention
  • Wait statistics, active blocking & blocking chains
  • Deadlock detection and event analysis
  • Long-running and resource-intensive queries
  • SQL Server Agent job execution & failures
  • Backup success, failure & age
  • SQL Server errors and operational events
  • Always On Availability Group health, where supported
  • Mirroring and other supported HA/DR status indicators
02Advanced performance diagnosticsPrioritized findings with supporting evidence—so your team can focus on the underlying cause.
  • High CPU and resource-intensive workloads
  • Logical and physical read analysis
  • Blocking, lock contention & deadlock patterns
  • Wait-statistics analysis
  • Query Store performance trends
  • Execution-plan regression indicators
  • Missing, duplicate & unused index observations
  • Statistics and index maintenance health
  • TempDB contention and configuration
  • Memory pressure and memory grants
  • Transaction log and I/O bottlenecks
  • Query performance changes over time
  • Configuration and operational health
03AI-assisted root-cause investigationStructured explanations grounded in verified evidence, deterministic diagnostic rules, and performance correlations.
  • Related performance anomaly correlation
  • Query-performance regression investigation
  • Abnormal CPU, memory & I/O patterns
  • Blocking and wait-statistics interpretation
  • Plausible root-cause hypotheses
  • Prioritized diagnostic recommendations
  • Evidence references for each finding
  • Confidence-aware explanations & competing hypotheses
  • Suggested next investigation steps

AI findings are diagnostic assistance. Qualified professionals assess the evidence, uncertainty, and competing explanations.

04Intelligent anomaly detectionFocus on meaningful changes, with historical workload baselines instead of threshold noise alone.
  • Historical CPU and memory baselines
  • Normal behavior by time and day
  • Abnormal query durations
  • Unexpected database activity
  • Unusual blocking and wait behavior
  • Significant backup duration changes
  • Unexpected database and transaction log growth
  • Emerging resource consumption patterns
05Predictive capacity & reliabilityPlan ahead with observed growth and resource trends, including uncertainty where appropriate.
  • Database file growth trends
  • Transaction log growth patterns
  • Available storage capacity projections
  • Storage exhaustion risk indicators
  • Backup duration changes
  • Resource utilization trends
  • Recurring performance pressure
  • Capacity-related operational risks
06Backup & recovery healthUnderstand backup reliability and recovery risks. A successful job alone does not establish restorability.
  • Full backup status and recency
  • Differential backup status, where applicable
  • Transaction log backup status and age
  • Failed backups and missed schedules
  • Backup duration changes
  • Recovery model observations
  • Backup chain and recovery-point risks
  • Backup configuration review
  • Restore testing and recovery-readiness recommendations

Actual restore testing, recovery exercises, and disaster-recovery implementation are separately scoped unless explicitly included in your DBA support allocation.

07High availability & disaster recoveryOperational visibility for supported SQL Server availability technologies.
  • Always On Availability Group health
  • Replica synchronization status
  • Database synchronization lag
  • Availability Group roles and connectivity
  • Failover-related events
  • Supported log-shipping health
  • HA/DR configuration observations
  • Recovery-readiness recommendations
08Maintenance & optimization insightsA proactive, structured approach to database maintenance and configuration.
  • Index fragmentation and maintenance
  • Statistics maintenance health
  • Agent maintenance job failures
  • Integrity-check status, where observable
  • Backup maintenance effectiveness
  • TempDB configuration
  • Database file growth configuration
  • Resource and configuration concerns
  • Recurring performance and operational inefficiencies
09Senior DBA-reviewed monthly reportAutomated evidence combined with professional technical review. One clear report each month.
  • Executive summary & overall health

AI intelligence. Privacy by design.

Insight you can use.
Boundaries you can trust.

SQLCare uses AI to assist qualified professionals, with an internal privacy gateway that permits only approved, minimized operational diagnostic information in external AI requests.

Senior DBAs approve customer-facing monthly reports. AI never autonomously executes SQL Server changes.

  • Business records and customer-identifying information excluded
  • SQL text and execution plans not transmitted by default
  • Credentials, connection strings, and secrets excluded
  • Diagnostic evidence validated before transmission
  • Findings supported by available evidence

The AI diagnostic layer uses the Anthropic Claude API. Data processing and retention are governed by the applicable commercial terms and selected API configuration.

Questions, answered

A little more clarity.

Understand the service, your support allocation, and how SQLCare works with your environment.

Is SQLCare monitoring software or a managed DBA service?

Both. SQLCare combines automated SQL Server monitoring and diagnostics with professional DBA oversight and dedicated monthly support hours.

Can SQLCare monitor on-premises SQL Servers?

Yes. SQLCare supports eligible on-premises SQL Server environments and SQL Server instances hosted on cloud virtual machines. Compatibility is confirmed during assessment.

Do we need to expose SQL Server to the internet?

No. The collector uses outbound encrypted communication and does not require directly exposing SQL Server to the public internet.

Will SQLCare read our customer or transaction data?

SQLCare collects operational telemetry rather than application business records. Required permissions and telemetry collection are reviewed during onboarding.

Does SQLCare send database data to AI?

Only approved, minimized and sanitized diagnostic evidence is permitted in AI requests. Business records, customer-identifying information, credentials, connection strings, and secrets are excluded. SQL text and execution plans are not sent by default.

Can AI modify our production SQL Server?

No. AI recommends investigations or remediation steps; it does not autonomously execute production changes. Production work requires customer authorization.

Can SQLCare replace a full-time DBA?

It can provide an economical option for organizations with limited DBA requirements. It does not replace every responsibility or availability commitment of a full-time employee.

Can our existing IT team work with Cloudurex?

Yes. SQLCare complements infrastructure teams, application administrators, and existing DBAs.

What if we need more than five support hours?

Additional support, instances, databases, and separately scoped projects can be quoted individually or arranged under an agreed hourly rate.

Is 24/7 human DBA support included?

No. Automated monitoring operates continuously. Human assistance is provided during agreed service windows; emergency after-hours response is not included.

Do unused support hours roll over?

No. Unused monthly DBA support hours do not roll over.

Who qualifies for the founding customer offer?

The package is limited to the first five paying customers, subject to environment eligibility and the service agreement. The five monthly DBA hours remain included for qualifying founding customers while their subscription continues under agreed terms.
